As the Healthy Beaches Programs Manager, Jennifer oversees Surfrider’s National Beach Cleanup Program and other healthy beaches initiatives. This includes engaging and supporting chapters and clubs, monitoring and promoting the use of the beach cleanup database and helping to advance our overall goals for the Plastic Pollution Initiative.
Jennifer graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies. During school, she volunteered with first and second grade students and taught them about sustainability and the environment. After college, she moved abroad for two years and lived in New Zealand and Australia while working for Rip Curl as she adventured and explored the two incredible countries. Jennifer joined the Surfrider crew in 2018 and currently lives in San Diego, CA. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, cooking, good wine, attempting to surf and beach days with her husband James and their dog, Ziggy.
