Our application to join Team Surfrider to run the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon is now CLOSED. Invitations will be send to selected applicants in early April, and ALL applicants will receive notification of their status by mid-April.
Exciting news, ocean champions! We're thrilled to announce that the Surfrider Foundation is an official charity partner of the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon. Here's your chance to lace up for Team Surfrider and make waves for ocean conservation. We've secured five guaranteed entries for passionate supporters like you who are ready to run on November 1, 2026.
Why Join?
Running for Team Surfrider means more than just crossing the finish line; it's about turning every step into a positive change for our oceans. By committing to raise a minimum of $3,000 (excluding race fees), you'll directly contribute to Surfrider's vital mission, the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves, and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network.
How to Apply:
Ready to hit the pavement with purpose? Complete the form below to throw your hat in the ring! As registrations become available, our team will select members from the applicants. It's important to note that submitting an application doesn't guarantee immediate registration. We will accept applications through Monday, March 31st at Midnight (Pacific Time).
