Making Our Voices Heard!

On March 9, 2023 more than 150 Surfrider activists from 57 chapters and student clubs across the country gathered in Washington DC and held more than 130 meetings with our elected representatives in Congress and the Executive branch to carry forward your demand for clean water & healthy beaches for ALL.

Over 6 years of hosting Coastal Recreation Hill Day, Surfrider has engaged more than 700 local activists from 26 states and territories across the country.

Our goal is to elevate the voice of the coastal recreation community and inspire stronger federal leadership on these critical issues.

Our 2023 Federal Priorities

Our 2023 federal priorities will focus on climate change action, protecting clean water and public health, and reducing plastic pollution.
