For 30 years, Chris Casey has worked at the intersection of technology, politics and advocacy, working to support and promote progressive candidates and organizations. His professional journey began in the early 90’s working for Senator Edward Kennedy, Chris helped to make Kennedy the first member of Congress to have a web site. After serving as a Senate staffer for eight years helping bring Senate Democrats online, Chris turned his attention to the campaign side of political technology, and later began working in non-profit advocacy. Chris is the author of the book, The Hill on the Net: Congress Enters the Information Age (AP Professional, 1996). 

Originally from Huntington Beach, Chris has been a lifelong beach lover with a passion for leaving any beach he visits cleaner than he found it. He is married and the father of three adult children.
