Partnerships

In her role as the Partnerships Activation Coordinator, Janie supports the national corporate partnerships team through administrative and operational responsibilities and acts as a liaison between the organization and partners.

Born and raised in North County San Diego, she developed a great passion and love for the ocean, fostered by her surfing parents. She spent her college years in Portland, Oregon at Lewis & Clark College where she graduated with a degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Political Science. After graduating, she returned to San Diego and explored the intersection of nonprofit work and environmentalism at local organizations like Coastal Roots Farm.

In her free time, she enjoys surfing, hiking, reading books, drinking matcha, and throwing ceramics with her friends.
