Kelsey earned her J.D. with a Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. She was Managing Editor of Environmental Law, participated in the Earthrise Law Clinic and Northwest Environmental Defense Center, and interned with multiple nonprofits across the PNW. Because of her commitment to public interest environmental law, Kelsey received a Diehl Environmental Law Fellowship to support her post-graduation work with Klamath-Siskiyou Wildlands Center and Rogue Riverkeeper.
She has gained valuable experience defending the wild places and rivers of southern Oregon up to the waters and shores of Puget Sound. As staff attorney at Puget Soundkeeper she managed a full docket of Clean Water Act enforcement actions against the most egregious polluters.
Kelsey is passionate about clean water and protecting the integrity of the natural world for communities, species, and future generations. Outside of work you'll find her exploring Seattle and the Pacific Northwest mountains, waters, and shores with her husband and two rescue pups.
