KANE Footwear 

KANE is a recovery footwear company, founded in 2022 by the former pro-lacrosse player John Gagliardi who wanted to create an advanced recovery shoe that prioritized helping athletes in their wellness journey and to “Come Back Better.” In an effort to expand wellness beyond the wearers of the shoe, KANE has dedicated themselves to protecting the wellbeing of the natural environment and the places where they play through initiatives like Project Renew, a yoga and changing mat made from recycled KANE shoes and wetsuits. KANE is also a Certified B Corp and proud member of 1% for the Planet. KANE joins the Surfrider Foundation as an official partner in 2025, working alongside our organization to build a culture rooted in active recovery, environmental responsibility, and community impact—because as KANE says, every step matters.
