Outerknown was started in 2015 by renowned pro surfer Kelly Slater and creative director John Moore as an apparel company with the goal of making the most responsible choices for the earth, no matter what challenges may lie ahead. As a company, Outerknown prides themselves on being transparent in their processes, being dedicated to responsible sourcing practices, and ensuring ethical welfare from the farmer to the customer. The clothing is built to last and 95% of the line is made with organic, Regenerative Organic Certified®, recycled or regenerated fibers.
