Come to Washington D.C. for the Blue Vision Summit!

Registration is now open for the Blue Vision Summit in Washington D.C. on May 9-11, 2017. Hosted by the Blue Frontier Campaign, the Summit brings together ocean advocates from around the country to discuss ways to advance ocean and coastal conservation. The conference program includes panels on offshore drilling, plastic pollution, coastal preservation and many other topics. The Surfrider Foundation is an official sponsor of the event and will help organize gatherings for Surfrider members who attend.

The Summit also includes a Hill Day (i.e., citizen lobby day) on May 10th where attendees will visit Capital Hill to meet with their representatives. At the last Summit, Surfrider members were well-represented and we hope to see another good turnout this spring! All necessary training and materials will be provided, so there's no experience necessary. With the impending change in political leadership, it's more important than ever for coastal advocates to make their voice heard in Washington D.C.

There is an early bird registration fee of $100 to register for the Summit (price increases to $150 in January). There is no charge to participate in the Hill Day and attendess are asked to register separately for each.
