Located just a stone's throw away from beautiful Great Bay along New Hampshire's Seacoast, Stoneface Brewing Co. is a state-of-the-art brewery and restaurant. Started in 2014 by owners Erol Moe and Pete Beauregard, Stoneface is now a thriving business with over 40 employees and a favorite of the Surfrider Foundation New Hampshire Chapter.

While they have many goals as a business one of their top priorities is sustainability. Besides producing consistently delicious beer and food, the Stoneface team has worked extremely hard at being as environmentally friendly as they can. This includes but is not limited to capturing the CO2 that is generated during the brewing process, shipping wastewater to a larger plant putting less burden on the local wastewater center, rinsing cans with ionized air instead of water during packaging, using local compost companies for all food and compostable waste, and shipping spent grains to local farms to supplement the diets of cattle.

Stoneface is also very active in the community by collaborating with local non-profits and donating portions of their proceeds.  Some current and past collaborations include the NHSPCA, NH Shellfish Farmers Alliance, Brave Noise, Blue Ocean Society, Live-Free-Drink- Craft Artist Collab Series, and on draft right now is Arvo, a New England IPA benefitting the NH Surfrider chapter.

Stoneface’s tasting room/restaurant offers visitors a vibrant atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating, 20 rotating taps, and an ever changing menu including vegetarian and vegan options.  In addition, the artwork in the tasting room is all local artists’ work. Besides providing a fun relaxed atmosphere with regular live music, Stoneface also hosts year round events by inviting local nonprofits and artists for pop-ups and beer release parties.

Surfrider NH was recently included in Green Daze which in part, emphasized the brewery's sustainability efforts and highlighted like-minded vendors and partners. The weekend included beer releases, menu specials, and a pop-up market featuring upcycled goods, makers, and more. Stoneface always aims to “assemble our community to celebrate parts being played in driving positive action for our planet-- while drinking New Hampshire brewed beer!”
